This Privacy Policy describes how Odin Technology Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company operating the Doorstep platform (“Doorstep,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and protects information about contractors, agencies, and visitors to heydoorstep.com and the Doorstep contractor admin dashboard.
If you are a homeowner or customer using a contractor’s portal, your data is governed by the privacy policy embedded in that portal — not this document. If you are a contractor using Doorstep to manage your customer data, your data processing obligations are also covered by the Data Processing Agreement.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising on third-party platforms.
If you provide a phone number during signup, we may send you account-related SMS messages (e.g., verification codes, critical alerts). By providing your number, you consent to receive these messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
SMS opt-out requests are processed immediately. We do not use your phone number for marketing text messages without separate explicit consent.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Doorstep and its users. In the event of a merger or acquisition, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We retain your account information for as long as your Doorstep subscription is active. Following cancellation or termination, we retain your data for up to 210 days to allow for data export requests, after which it is deleted from active systems. Billing records may be retained longer as required by applicable law.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your account, we will notify you without undue delay consistent with applicable law.

We use essential cookies to maintain session state in the contractor admin dashboard. We may use analytics tools that set cookies to understand aggregate traffic patterns on heydoorstep.com. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect platform functionality.
The Doorstep platform and heydoorstep.com are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact privacy@heydoorstep.com and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at heydoorstep.com/privacy.
